Hey everyone, Leon here.
You may have noticed - we haven't posted in the couple weeks, and the last time we did have a stream of content going, we were gone a couple weeks before that as well.
I'll be honest, the blog is in a weird place right now. I am extremely busy with my life right now, and as such, while I have had time to hear a lot of new music, I haven't had time to really sit down and write about it for a post here. I'll be honest, when I wrote that piece on how I can't be a critic, it really made me wonder what the hell this blog would become. I wanted 2017 to be our year, and so far it hasn't. I'm not speaking in terms of growth or anything, because I appreciate anyone who's read this blog at least once in their lives or even enjoys reading the content here. I can't thank all of you enough.
No, my frustration is really just an underlying sense of not knowing what the hell I'm doing at this point with this thing. I had so many ideas, and now honestly, the car has run out of gas so to speak. Even if I did find time to write about something (other than this), it probably wouldn't be until May, and even then, my summer is going to be extremely busy.
I don't want to say I'm going on hiatus again, but that's kind of what I'm dancing around. It's different from before, and unlike then I'm just more lost than outright angry at anything, but still, I have no clue where to go from here.
In addition to this though, I recently found out Weebly's storage space limit recently changed from offering free blogs an unlimited amount of storage space to just 500 MB's. I can't complain, I mean, it's the law of economics - you get what you pay for. Still, I have no clue if that affects just images or if it affects text and other elements as well. Basically, eventually this blog will burn out anyway due to the limit. And of course, being the *wonderful* platform Weebly is, I can't tell how much space I've already used.
I can't promise a ton right now. Andy is also busy with matters in his personal life, and I can't say he'll be posting anytime soon either, but still, there's a lot of things up in the air right now.
I don't know what else to say, so I'll just say thanks.
